So my sons looked outside at the falling leaves (even though it was still warm), and for the first time they knew that the pool would be coming down soon. Somehow they got it into their heads that they wanted to build cardboard boats, and they knew that if they were going to test them, they needed to build them soon.
So they did... We figure this is going to be an annual, end-of-summer challenge. Papa did most of the engineering, but that won't last long...
They cracked me up, watching them try out those boats. Micah, being 5, was concerned about tipping and/or sinking. In a pool that he was swimming in constantly. And Levi was so intent - this will work - was his mindset..
Too. Much. Fun.
